UEFA confirm decision over Denmark vs Finland Euro 2020 fixture amid Christian Eriksen update

UEFA have confirmed that Denmark vs Finland is set to resume this evening, following the request of players from both teams.

This follows the game being suspended earlier on after Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch, before being taken to hospital.

UEFA have said that Eriksen is now in hospital and is in a stable condition, with the governing body stating that it wishes Eriksen a full and speedy recovery and wishes to thanks both teams for their exemplary attitude.

The game is restarting at 8.30 CET (7.30 GMT).

The statement read: "Following the request made by players of both teams, UEFA has agreed to restart the match between Denmark and Finland tonight at 20:30 CET (TBC). The last four minutes of the first half will be played, there will then be a 5-minute half-time break followed by the second half."
