Real Madrid faced a testing atmosphere as they beat Galatasaray 1-0 in Istanbul, and city rivals Atletico Madrid beat Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 in one of tonight's 5:55pm BST kick-offs.
Shakhtar Donetsk drew 2-2 with Dinamo Zagreb in the other early game, while later in the evening Bayern Munich won 3-2 at Olympiacos, Club Brugge were well beaten 5-0 by PSG in Belgium, and Juventus came back to beat Lokomotiv Moscow 2-1 thanks to two goals from Paulo Dybala.
