Some of Uddingston TAGB’s best tae kwondo fighters took an impressive 25 medals home from the TAGB Northern Irish Championships in October.
Of their haul, 20 were gold, four were silver and they also took a bronze.
Ellis Neil was a triple champion, taking gold in patterns, sparring and teams, as did Lois Marley.
Sophie Mitchell won silver in patterns and sparring and gold in teams.
Ava Mitchell won silver in sparring and gold in teams, Orla McLean won bronze in patterns, and gold in sparring and teams, and Michelle Duffy was a double champion, with gold in sparring and teams.
Lee Nugent was a double champion, with gold in sparring and teams, Zak Maxwell won silver in sparring and gold in teams, and Aaron Burns took gold in teams.
Lee McKendrick was a double champion, winning gold in sparring and teams.
Instructor Kirsty Izat said: “It was a great pay-off for all their hard work and dedication with the training that they do.
“They put in extra training sessions during the week, and at the weekends, and it obviously paid off.

Miss Izat and her students train at Uddingston Sports Centre on Monday and Wednesday nights.
There are classes available for tots, juniors and adults. There is also a separate assisted learning class for students who require smaller classes.
