Los Angeles firefighters put out the fire before 7:30 a.m. in the 10900 block of Roebling Avenue and found the woman's body inside, officials said.

Police said it was unclear if the woman died as a result of the fire or if she was dead prior to it starting. Her death is being treated as a homicide, said Officer Liliana Preciado.
