Sept. 21--The body of a UCLA student was found inside a burning apartment Monday morning in Westwood.

Los Angeles firefighters put out the fire before 7:30 a.m. in the 10900 block of Roebling Avenue and found the woman's body inside, officials said.
Police said it was unclear if the woman died as a result of the fire or if she was dead prior to it starting. Her death is being treated as a homicide, said Officer Liliana Preciado.

The woman's boyfriend had been initially identified as a person of interest, but police said that is no longer the case.
The Daily Bruin reported several members of the Pi Beta Phi sorority lived in the unit. The fourth-year student was studying psychology and Spanish, the newspaper reported.
