UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi’s teammates dance with her during perfect 10 routine

Katelyn Ohashi landed another perfect 10 on the floor for UCLA gymnastics in a meet against Oklahoma this weekend, a performance that complemented 10s from teammate Kyla Ross on the uneven bars and vault respectively.

It wasn’t enough, though, as No. 2 UCLA fell to No. 1 Oklahoma in the meet, 197.775-197.575.

From The Daily Bruin:

“You can’t come into this meet and just be good, and have a few 10s,” said coach Valorie Kondos Field. “This is where you really see the courage of your team and this revealed what we need to go home and work on, instead of just riding the crest of ‘We’re undefeated.’”

That being said, Ohashi was once again spectacular, wowing with her tumbling routines and infectious energy. Shoutouts to the teammates dancing along with her in the background. Just fantastic.
