Uche Ikpeazu ensures Aaron Hickey gets his Hearts champagne moment with sneaky post-match pass

Aaron Hickey's tender years didn't stop Uche Ikpeazu ensuring the Edinburgh derby match-winner had his champagne moment at Easter Road.

The full-back fired home an 84th minute strike to complete a dramatic Hearts comeback and pile further pressure on Paul Heckingbottom.

Stevie Mallan's wonder strike put Hibs ahead before Ikpeazu and Hickey struck - much to the relief of boss Craig Levein .

The 17-year-old's goal earned him the man of the match award but the Sky Sports interviewer passed the bubbly onto Ikpeazu instead.

However, not wanting to ruin the youngster's moment, the striker handed it to his team-mate anyway.

Afterwards, Hickey admitted the goal was the best moment of his life to date but revealed he didn't hang on to the champagne for long.

He said: "It was the best feeling in the world, so far. I was just thinking about all my family watching the game.

"(Colin) Doyle was asking me for it, so I just thought I'd give to him!"

Hickey has enjoyed a whirlwind rise into the Jambos' first-team, impressing in the Scottish Cup Final back in May.

And the teenager insists he's loving every minute.

He added: "Playing in the Cup Final and playing at Parkhead twice, it's brilliant.

"The gaffer has put his trust in me and the staff at Hearts are all great, it's really good for me."
