Uche Ikpeazu an injury doubt for Hearts in three crucial games

Man mountain Uche Ikpeazu could miss a hat-trick of crucial games for Hearts .

Craig Levein admitted the striker is poised for a spell on the sidelines after a sickening head knock in the victory over Aberdeen.

Ikpeazu netted the winner at Tynecastle but then left on a stretcher after a clash with Dom Ball before hitting his head on the deck.

If he has suffered a concussion the forward will be out for at least three weeks and would miss Premiership clashes with Rangers and Hibs as well as the Scottish Cup semi-final against Inverness.

And Levein said: “Uche is a bit dazed, I think he hit his head on the turf when he landed and there was maybe a clash of heads as well.

“He thinks he’s scored a hat-trick.

“If he’s out for the coming games then it’s a concern because he was fantastic today.

“We will just have to see what the medical people say, I think there are protocols in place.

“But it will all depend on whether he’s been knocked out or not.

“How they diagnose it, I don’t know so we will just have to wait and see.

“I can do the manager and director of football, but I don’t know about doing the doctor’s job too!

“The medical team will deal with it.”
