UCF QB McKenzie Milton believes he will play football again

ORLANDO, Fla. _ Each scar represents a different surgery and together they tell quite a story. It's a story only McKenzie Milton can tell when people first see his legs.

The marks were left by a group of talented surgeons during a series of operations, the longest one stretching from his groin to his knee. They're a constant reminder of the devastating injury the UCF quarterback suffered four months ago.

Sometimes Milton tries to have a bit of fun when he meets a person who doesn't know about his journey.

"I try to make up stories sometimes like I got bit by a shark," Milton said while laughing. "It's definitely a story to tell when people ask, 'What's that about?'

"And I tell them I had a dislocated knee and I almost lost my leg."
