The team talked about "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," which is known for being one of the most loved games in the franchise's history, signifying that this iconic title is not forgotten by the company as well.
The trend is known for bringing up forgotten novelties, games, products, services, and more that people have not forgotten. The OPs would usually share images or videos of it to jog up nostalgia among the public. This specific trend became popular around two months ago and died down already, but Ubisoft is only hopping on it now, and fans found it odd that the company is doing it months later.
Possibly, there are two reasons why Ubisoft did this trend at this time only.
