People tend to stay indoors to avoid the cold weather and dark nights, with evenings likely spent in front of the TV with a takeaway.
But Uber Eats has an even more tempting offer as they're offering free delivery on all vegan orders today to celebrate World Vegan Month in November.
According to the food delivery service, Manchester is the third most vegan-friendly city on the app, and while vegans across Greater Manchester will be delighted over the offer, it may also persuade meat-eaters to give a vegan meal a go.
In the last year, vegan orders have increased by nearly half on the app in the last year, rising by 47 per cent.
On top of this, there has been a significant rise in the number of vegan restaurants in the UK with a whopping 148 per cent additional vegan restaurants joining the service since 2018.
Veganism continues to be one of the biggest food trends, with this year dubbed ‘the year of the vegan’ by The Economist.
And as we’re nearing the end of this year, Uber Eats has unveiled the Salad Bowl as Manchester’s number one vegan dish on their platform, followed by Vegan Burrito in second place and Vegan Beef Burger in third.
