Uber Eats could launch pass that gives users UNLIMITED food for just £8/month

While most of us love a takeout, regularly ordering food deliveries comes at a hefty cost.

But in what will come as music to the ears of takeaway lovers around the world, this looks set to change, according to the latest Uber leak.

The leak suggests that Uber Eats could soon launch a new pass that gives customers unlimited food for just £8 a month.

Jane Manchun Wong, a developer based in Hong Kong, spotted the feature hidden in the code inside the Android version of the Uber Eats app in the US.

She tweeted a screenshot of the feature, writing: “Uber Eats is working on Eats Pass.”

The screenshot likely features placeholder text, but it gives us a taste of what to expect, saying: “Get free delivery any restaurant, any time.”

Ms Wong also posted a second screenshot, which indicates that the Pass could be an absolute bargain at $9.99 (£7.90).

While Uber is yet to confirm the feature, speaking to TechCrunch a spokesperson didn’t deny it was in the works.

The spokesperson said: “We're always thinking about new ways to enhance the Eats experience.”

Mirror Online has contacted Uber for further comment.
