
UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reiterated UAE's support for all efforts made to promote security and stability in brotherly Syria to fulfill the aspirations of its people for development and prosperity.
Sheikh Abdullah made his remarks during his meeting in Dubai with UN Special Envoy to Syria Geir Pedersen.
The two sides reviewed ways to further strengthen international efforts to solve the Syrian crisis in efforts to consolidate the pillars of security and stability in the country.
Sheikh Abdullah also discussed with Bahrain's Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, brotherly relations between the UAE and Bahrain and ways to enhance cooperation across various fields.
The two sides tackled several issues of common concern along with regional and international developments.
The UAE’s FM also received his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry.
During the meeting, they discussed the deep-rooted brotherly relations between the UAE and Egypt and ways to foster them across various sectors.
They also explored regional developments and efforts to consolidate the pillars of security and stability in the region, as well as a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
