UAE, Bahrain Congratulate Sudan on Forming New Govt.

The United Arab Emirates and Bahrain congratulated on Friday Sudan on the formation of a new government.

Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, discussed in a telephone call with Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, prospects for further advancing relations between Abu Dhabi and Khartoum.

Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the Sudanese people on the recent formation of their government, adding: "The UAE is standing by Sudan in their efforts to maintain their unity, security and stability.”

Bahrain welcomed the formation of the government, saying it was an important step that reflected the “keenness of all parties on preserving the interests of the brotherly Sudanese people and achieving of their aspirations for progress and prosperity.”

The Foreign Ministry underlined Mamana’s support for any measures that could guide Sudan to further development and prosperity and enhance its security and stability.
