UAE Announces 2,798 New COVID-19 Cases

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, announced that it conducted 148,587 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours.

‌‌‏As part of its intensified testing campaign, it reported 2,798 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 329,293.

‌‌‏According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities and in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.

‌‌‏The Ministry also announced nine deaths due to virus complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 930. The total number of recoveries had reached 309,692.

According to the Ministry, 99,781 vaccine doses were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up so far stands at 4,413,649, with a rate of vaccine distribution of 44.63 doses per 100 people.
