UAE Announces 1,519 New COVID-19 Cases

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said on Sunday that it conducted 284,403 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours.

MoHAP announced 1,519 new coronavirus cases, increasing the total number of recorded infections in the UAE to 682,377.

The ministry also announced two deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 1,951.

MoHAP noted that an additional 1,466 individuals had fully recovered from the disease.

The ministry said Sunday that 15,279 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered during the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided so far stands at 16,810,996, it added.
