UAE Announces 1,260 New COVID-19 Cases

The UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention said Tuesday it registered 1,260 new COVID-1 cases as well as two deaths.

This came after it conducted 146,000 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

The new cases raises the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 178,837. Meanwhile, the death toll rose to 596.

According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.
