U.S. Open leader Justin Rose will join Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth early Friday in Round 2 of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links.
Rose tied the single-round U.S. Open record at Pebble Beach set by Woods in 2000 with his 65 on in Round 1 Thursday.
Rose leads a group of four players at 5-under that includes Rickie Fowler and the past two PGA Tour Rookies of the Year: Aaron Wise and Xander Schauffele.
The Woods-Spieth-Rose grouping goes out from the 10th tee at 11:24 a.m. ET Friday (or 8:24 a.m. local time).
