(Reuters) - A low pressure area located south of the Cape Verde Islands in the Atlantic has a 40 percent chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Monday.
The system, now located several hundred miles south of the islands, could become a tropical depression over the next few days as it moves west-northwestward, the Miami-based weather forecaster said.
