Jan. 26--For the first time, being an orthodontist may be better than being a dentist, according to a list released by U.S. News World Report of the 2016 best job rankings.
Dentist, which topped last year's list, came in second. Computer systems analyst was third, and nurse anesthetist took fourth place. Health care topped the list of best-paying jobs with an average salary of $246,320.
The list was created based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to identify jobs with the greatest hiring demand. Then they were scored based on 10-year growth volume, 10-year growth percentage, median salary, employment rate, future job prospects, stress level and work-life balance.
