U-25 Shalini Bhalekar Trophy to kick off from December 21

MUMBAI: After a one-year enforced break due to covid issues, the Under-25 Shalini Bhalekar Trophy will kick off from December 21.

On Friday, the Mumbai senior team selectors, led by Salil Ankola picked 68 players for the tournament.

Arman Jaffer (Jahangir Pithawal XI, coach: Rajesh Pawar), Shams Mulani (Dilip Vengsarkar XI, Vineet Indulkar), Sairaj Patil (Lalchand Rajput XI, Sachin Koli) and Hardik Tamore (Chandrakant Pandit XI, Rajesh Sanil) to lead the four teams.

The tournament will serve as a selection trial to pick the Mumbai Under-25 team for the BCCI tournament in this age category.
