Tyson Fury warned Anthony Joshua has 'mixed the pot' ahead of Deontay Wilder fight

Tyson Fury has been sent a warning ahead of his third fight with Deontay Wilder this weekend.

The two will step in the ring for the third time in Las Vegas on Saturday evening as the trilogy bout will almost certainly be the last time the two fight, being billed as 'Once And For All'.

After a no contest draw, followed by a Tyson Fury knockout, the Gypsy King comes into the fight as the favourite - and will look to confirm his spot of top heavyweight boxer in the world.

Deontay Wilder presents a tough opponent however, and Fury's own promoter has been quick to remind the Wythenshawe fighter of his power heading into the third fight.

Top Rank's president Todd duBoef said: "My gut says that Tyson will do what Tyson does best in a continuation of the second fight. But he had better be careful.

"On October 9 it will give us the chance to put an absolute conclusion to the trilogy.

"Both of these guys have been out for so long and everybody is waiting for this.

"Anthony Joshua losing has mixed the pot. Intrigue has been created. Boxing never changes, it is so dynamic.

"The light is now on Fury and Wilder. We will see the boxing renaissance keep going."

Although Fury may not acknowledge it, he's all too aware of Wilder's punching power after coming so close to being knocked out in their first fight.

Fury and Wilder's first fight took place in December 2018 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

A tight contest on the night ended in a draw, but Wilder and his team took exception to what they perceived as a slow count when Fury had been knocked to the canvas in the final round.

In fight number two in February 2020, Fury was back to his dominant best scoring a TKO victory in the seventh round.

If Fury is to beat Wilder in the trilogy fight, he's likely to face Dillian Whyte back in the UK.
