Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallin: What UK time is the fight, when are the ring walks and who's on the undercard?

The heavyweight division in boxing is fairly stacked these days, with another big fight seemingly always just around the corner.

This weekend sees the mercurial Tyson Fury take on heavy underdog Otto Wallin in Las Vegas as Fury continues his comeback to the sport.

Fury has previous in Sin City, having previously knocked out Tom Schwartz in June of this year.

Wallin goes in to the fight as a huge underdog, but boasts an impressive 20 wins from 21 fights (1 no contest) with 13 KOs, and is ranked number 4 by the WBA in their heavyweight rankings.

We have seen a British heavyweight succumb to a shock loss in recent history, but Fury has insisted that he “won’t underestimate anybody” ahead of the fight.

LIVE: FOLLOW UPDATES OF TYSON FURY VS OTTO WALLIN

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the heavyweight bout.

When is the fight?

The fight is billed as Saturday, September 14 but UK viewers will have to stay up or set alarms for the early hours of Sunday morning, with the ring walks not expected until approximately 4am.

How can I watch it?

BT Sport will be showing the fight on BT Sport Box Office, with the fight available for purchase for £19.95 on BT TV, Virgin TV and Sky TV.

You can also purchase the fight on BT’s website and live stream the fight on mobile or PC.

Their coverage of the fight begins at 2am.

What are the odds?

  • Fury 1/33
  • Draw 50/1
  • Wallin 16/1

Our Prediction

Despite Wallin’s stellar record and ranking, he is not expected to pull up any trees as the Swede lacks experience at the peak of the division. Fury is unlikely to toy with a lesser opponent - he knocked out Schwartz in round 2 - so this fight should be over inside the first five rounds.

Who’s on the undercard?

  • Emanuel Navarrete vs Juan Miguel Elorde
  • Jose Pedraza vs Jose Zepeda
  • Isaac Lowe vs Ruben Garcia Hernandez
  • Felix Valera vs Vyascheslav Shabranskyy
  • Carlos Cuadras vs Jose Maria Cardenas
  • Gabriel Flores Jr vs Miguel Angel Perez Aispuro
  • Isidro Ochoa vs Iskander Kharsan
  • Guido Vianello vs Cassius Anderson
  • Abram Martinez vs Kevin Johnson

Perhaps more than anything else, Fury's ring walks are now becoming somewhat infamous.

Last time out in Las Vegas, the Gypsy King walked out to the incredible "Living in America", channeling his inner Apollo Creed.

What will it be this time? It's widely expected it'll be Mexican themed, with Fury embracing the look in fight week ahead of Mexican Independence Day.
Fury has been entertaining all week on his takeover.

"I can defeat them all with one hand," he said.

"I have lightning reflexes for a giant. I am a giant of a heavyweight, there has never been a heavyweight like me and there has never been a heavyweight who can move like that.

"I'm a freak of nature, I defy every law of gravity, it shouldn't be possible for a man of my height and weight to move like that.

"I can beat them all."

Find me a more confident boxer. I dare you.

But what of Wallin? An undefeated, fairly untested Swedish fighter who lost to Anthony Joshua in the amateurs and is often a sparring partner of the former unified heavyweight titlist.

This weekend, he fights for something bigger.

“My father passed away on May 22,” Wallin said.

“It was tough. He was here in New York in April and he told me that time that if something would happen to him I had to keep working hard, keep training and fighting.

“He wasn't ill. He had diabetes, problems with his feet and stuff. He died of a heart attack, it was probably related to the diabetes when he said it but I don't know why. Maybe he felt something or maybe not.

“I've just been trying to keep going like he said. Even the day after he passed away I was in the gym working out. I was thinking about him. It was hard to keep it together, I was almost crying on and off but I got through it. I stayed in the gym and it has paid off.”

It'll set you back £19.95 and it probably won't last all that long, but support boxing and that.
Earlier tonight, KSI and Logan Paul had a press conference ahead of their 9 November fight.

It already has millions of views, so if you didn't watch it, recap. It was... quite something.

The pair met for the first time since their fight last year
Terence Crawford has made his prediction.

Not long to go until fight time!
The impressive duo of Andre Ward and Tim Bradley are in the studio for ESPN+ tonight.

Andre Ward: "Tyson Fury is slowly moving towards that Klitschko-esque fighter - and that is a dangerous, dangerous fighter."
Carlos Cuadras beats Jose Maria Cardenas by majority decision tonight.

Tyson Fury has arrived! Looking relaxed as ever.

Our man Declan Taylor is at the T-Mobile Arena tonight, and expects the main event ring walks around 5am UK time.

Could Tyson suffer a shock defeat tonight?

This is what his father John Fury has had to say: “It all depends on if Otto Wallin lets Tyson camp in his head, because Tyson is a world champion at that.

“You cannot leap from European to world class, it is the Grand National tonight but Tyson has a Ferrari of a gearbox and there is nothing this man can do to Tyson.”

Tim Bradley on Tyson Fury: "I've never seen a guy that big, that fluid, that movement and have that elusiveness about him. It's unreal."
So, the Gypsy King - or this week, El Rey de los Gitanos, takes quite the weight advantage into the ring tonight.

Tyson Fury 254.4lbs
Otto Wallin 236lbs
