Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk undisputed fight could take place in UK

Tyson Fury could fight Oleksandr Usyk in front of 95,000 fans at Wembley Stadium - despite the undisputed clash seeming bound for the Middle East.

In the first undisputed heavyweight title fight since 1999, Fury and Usyk are expected to meet in the first quarter of next year. Fury expects the fight to take place in the Middle East as the nation has reached out with huge offers to host it, but Top Rank boss Bob Arum admits there is a chance it could break the Wembley attendance record set by Fury in his fight against Dillian Whyte in April.

"We are balancing a couple of significant offers from the Mid East and also there's the possibility of doing the fight in the UK at Wembley [stadium] with a massive 95,000 crowd in attendance," Arum told Sky Sports. "Fighters have a relatively short life and money is important. So if the money which has been proposed to us is real that has to be taken into consideration.

"To go back to Wembley and do a fight before 95,000 people for me really stirs up the blood. It would be crazy. It would just be wonderful. It shouldn't be too long before a final decision is made. "We'll have it all sorted out. I hope maybe by the end of the year."

Ninety four thousand fans turned out to watch Fury defend his title by knocking out Whyte, with the Brit making the latest defence of his WBC belt by stopping Derek Chisora in their trilogy fight earlier this month. Usyk squared off with Fury in the ring after that fight as 'The Gypsy King' shouted in his face whilst hurtling insults at him.

Usyk won the unified heavyweight titles last August when he beat two-time champion Anthony Joshua, beating the Brit again in their rematch three months ago. Arum has insisted the undisputed clash will definitely take place before May, but Usyk's manager Alex Krassyuk recently declared that he wants it to be hosted by March 4 at the very latest.

"Both of them want the fight and so there'll be very little, if any, [messing] around," Arum added. "We'll be able to make that happen. I'm very, very confident. As I said the fighters have both agreed to fight each other next without any interim fights. Now the question is what's the date and what's the site. That fight is definitely going to happen and it will happen in the first four months of next year.
