Background

Fury takes on the undefeated WBC champion Wilder as he finally gets the fight he has been waiting for since his return to boxing.

The 30-year-old stepped back into the ring earlier this year following a 32-month absence after accepting an anti-doping rule violation.

After winning his first two fights on his return against Sefer Seferi and Francesco Pianeta, promoter Frank Warren confirmed the Gypsy King would challenge for Wilder's WBC heavyweight title after beating Pianeta back in August.

The American has a knockout-to-win ratio of 98 per cent and after beating Cuban fighter Luis Ortiz in March, Wilder is now 40 bouts undefeated heading into the biggest fight of his career.

Weigh-in

Tyson came in at 256.5lbs to Wilder's 212.5lbs, that's 44lbs difference.

The English fighter is two pounds lighter than when he fought Franciso Pianeta but more than when he fought Wladimir Klitschko.

Undercard

Former multiple-division world champion Robert Guerrero and former heavyweight title challenger Chris Arreola will make their ring returns as part of an exciting night of undercard action.

The pay-per-view undercard features unified super welterweight world champion Jarrett Hurd returning to take on Jason Welborn, Cuban heavyweight slugger Luis Ortiz, who was beaten by Wilder, facing off against Travis Kauffman and rising heavyweight Joe Joyce battling Joe Hanks.

Deontay Wilder’s brother and unbeaten prospect Marsellos Wilder (2-0) is also in cruiserweight attraction. In the IBF minimumweight world title showdown, Carlos Licona (13-0) takes on the Phillippines’ Mark Anthony Barriga (9-0) while unbeaten featherweight Isaac Lowe (15-0-3) competes in an eight-round bout.

Undefeated light flyweight prospect Jesse Rodriguez (7-0) battles Mexico’s Alex Aragon (10-2-1) in an eight-round bout and hard-hitting British light heavyweight contender Anthony Yarde (17-0) also takes to the ring
