Tyson Fury v Deontay Wilder 3 date, fight time, TV channel information, betting odds and more

By Robert Hynes

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder clash for a third time as they battle it out for the WBC heavyweight title in Las Vegas this weekend.

The first bout between the pair ended in a controversial split decision draw as Fury somehow managed to get back on his feet after being knocked down twice by the Bronze Bomber.

But Fury dominated the rematch, beating the American inside seven rounds, with Wilder's corner throwing the towel in.

That leaves the Gypsy King odds-on favourite to win the trilogy fight, which was originally due to take place on July 24, before Fury tested positive for Covid-19.

Quotes corner

Tyson Fury: "I am going to knock him out, quick time.

"I think he's a real piece of s***, a real piece of garbage.

"When we first crossed paths I thought he was a good, man, fighting for his kids and all that but now I know he is a right piece of work.

"For that I might do it slow, I might take my beating him up and make him quit. I might force him to say, 'no mas'."

Deontay Wilder: “The delay was a blessing, a blessing for me. You know, the more they delayed it, the more time we had to work on our craft and art, and to go over even more, strategically, go over the game plan that we’re gonna have come October the 9th.

"So, you know, it was a time of frustration because as a fighter, you know, I mean, as a fighter, you’re ready to go. You know, you’re ready to get back out there. And this is the longest I’ve been out of the ring, especially when I’m anxious to get in the ring.”

Betting odds

Tyson Fury: 1/3

Deontay Wilder: 9/4

Draw: 25/1
