Tyson Fury has told Derek Chisora to "get f****d" in his latest jab at his old rival, and could be putting their trilogy fight in jeopardy.
The world heavyweight champion declared earlier this week that he was officially coming out of retirement for a third bout against Chisora, as well as announcing that he is now being trained by Isaac Lowe. But just days after the confirmation that he would be returning to face the veteran Brit, Fury now seems to be less than keen on such an event.
He is currently in Iceland on the hunt for strongman Thor Bjornsson, and took to Instagram to share a video on his story updating fans on the potential trilogy. There, he seemed to confirm what promoter Eddie Hearn has been saying about Chisora turning down the purse offered for the fight, which is reportedly millions less than the heavyweight wants.
"The funny thing is people love to do deals and then ask for more and then change the goalposts," Fury said in a cryptic video, tagging Chisora. "But the usual thing is, for me, I tell them to go and get f****d so there we are."
Last week, Chisora's promoter Eddie Hearn told Boxing Social : “Derek had an offer from the Tyson Fury camp. It wasn’t enough money, I’m not sure we’re gonna see that fight, but good to see Tyson Fury keeping his options open.”
However, the fight had appeared to be moving in the right direction earlier this week as Fury was seen speaking with Chisora's management, and later confirmed that he was returning. But it now seems as if the fight is in jeopardy, particularly after Bob Arum claimed that no deal was close to being made, and that Fury was just winding up fans.
It's been reported by ESPN that Fury's offer to Chisora was made through Goldstar Promotions, who handle his speaking tours around the UK. He is still believed to be tied to Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions and Bob Arum's Top Rank, meaning it's unclear how seriously the offer can be taken.

Taking to social media to make the announcement, Fury told cousin and former world champion Andy Lee: "I've decided to come back to boxing because I can become the first heavyweight champion in history to have two trilogies; one with Deontay Wilder and the second one with Derek Chisora.
"I always said I'd fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career and here we are, breaking all records again and setting precedents. Why I've chosen Isaac Lowe as my trainer is that while I was with Peter [Fury], Isaac was there, while I was with Ben [Davison], Isaac was there and when I was with SugarHill he was always there.
"He gives me information, he knows me better than anybody on the planet and we're a great team. We've always been together and we're going to finish this out together. We've always worked very well together and here we are, about to take on a massive, massive event."
