Tyson Fury stuns drinkers by strolling into pub topless and ordering lager

Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury surprised pub-goers in Aintree by ordering a drink at the bar whilst topless.

Fury has been carrying out his 'Official After Party Tour' since June 23, touring cities such as Wolverhampton, Liverpool and Sheffield. 'The Gypsy King' took a break to get half a pint of lager at The Queen's pub in Aintree, but left customers "stunned" after returning from the toilet with his t-shirt off.

A bartender from the pub said customers didn't recognise the heavyweight champion at first. It was only once fans started asking for pictures that Fury - who was in the pub for just five minutes - returned from the toilet with his t-shirt off.

"Nobody noticed him at first as he just walked through the bar we were not that busy then I popped my head up and saw Tyson Fury," she told the Liverpool Echo. "I said to one of my colleges 'is that Tyson Fury' and his manager said, 'Yeah it's him'.

"He then came out of the bathroom and started taking photographs with everyone he was only in there for five minutes. He had a suit on originally but I think he took his top off because everyone had already noticed him."

It's not the first time Fury has surprised the people of Liverpool as 'The Gypsy King' was spotted at a local coffee shop in Newton-le-Willows earlier this year. The bartender said that people started calling into the pub to ask if Fury was still there.

"The phone was going off in work asking if he was still there, people started turning up," she added. "One woman even asked if he was still around as his son is such a big fan but he had already left. It was a big shock but he could not have been any nicer to us all and he made time for everybody he was just lovely."

Fury is continuing to tour the north of England for the rest of this week as part of his 'Fury Fest'. On Thursday, the heavyweight champion is visiting Gateshead and Newcastle whilst he will travel to Sunderland on Friday. He will continue to work his way down England, finishing with a visit to London in October.

The Brit announced his retirement from boxing after knocking out Dillian Whyte to defend his WBC title in April. Fury has been linked to return for an undisputed title fight against the winner of Oleksandr Usyk's rematch with Anthony Joshua next month.
