Tyson Fury has described an "emotional moment" seeing his 16-year-old daughter, Venezuela, in her wedding dress for the first time, as she married her 19-year-old boyfriend, Noah Price, on the Isle of Man at the weekend.
The boxing champion shared his feelings on Instagram, writing: "Wow seeing her in the dress for the first time was an emotional moment for me! and the realization that her getting married was upon me!"
In another post, he shared a clip of himself walking his daughter down the aisle, adding: "A beautiful day of celebrating my daughter’s wedding day, @venezuelaprice1 she was amazing & I’m very proud of her! we both were crying like babys."
The wedding took place on the Isle of Man, where the legal age for marriage is 16 with parental consent. This contrasts with England and Wales, where individuals must be at least 18 years old to marry or form a civil partnership, and it is illegal to marry under 18, even with parental consent.
Venezuela, a reality star from the Netflix series At Home With The Furys, also posted a TikTok video showing her father and youngest brother, Prince Rico Paris, seeing her in her dress before the ceremony. The clip was set to audio from the 1991 film Father Of The Bride, which features Steve Martin’s character reflecting on the sadness of his daughter getting married.
The teenager has kept her 985,000 followers updated on her nuptials, recently revealing her husband wears his wedding ring on a chain around his neck instead of on his finger.
She also shared that the couple is heading on honeymoon but declined to disclose the destination, stating: "I don’t want to be hunted down." On the morning of her wedding, she posted a humorous video of herself falling out of bed, lip-syncing to a Friends clip where Monica, played by Courteney Cox, celebrates her wedding day before falling over.
The family’s reality show, At Home With The Furys, documents the heavyweight champion’s life as he steps away from the ring and attempts to embrace retirement with his wife, Paris, father, John, and their children.
