Tyson Fury set for boxing comeback

  • Tyson Fury is confirmed to come out of retirement and return to boxing in 2026.
  • The announcement was made by Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh, who stated he has Fury's word for a fight during Riyadh Season.
  • Fury had retired from boxing in December after suffering two consecutive defeats to unified heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
  • As recently as May, Fury had publicly reiterated his contentment with retirement, stating he had nothing to prove and was in no rush to return to the ring.
  • Oleksandr Usyk, who defeated Fury twice, is scheduled to defend his belts against Daniel Dubois on July 19 at Wembley Stadium.
