Tyson Fury sends three-word response to Cristiano Ronaldo face-off at Manchester United

Tyson Fury was clearly a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo’s link-up with UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The retired MMA champion was in the crowd to watch United’s 1-1 draw with Everton last weekend, before meeting up with his close friend after the game.

Khabib took to Instagram to share a video of himself facing off with Ronaldo, with the pair also pictured play fighting with each other.

The meet-up between the two legends of their sports caught the attention of plenty of other big stars, including Fury.

The Gypsy King is currently out in Las Vegas as he looks to defend his WBC title this weekend against Deontay Wilder, with the pair meeting in the ring for the third time.

Fury has found time to keep up with events at Old Trafford, and was clearly impressed by Khabib’s meeting with Ronaldo.

He commented on the Russian’s post: “Legendary link up” with two crown emojis to emphasise his point.

It wasn’t just Ronaldo’s meeting with Khabib that garnered plenty of attention over the weekend.

Paul Pogba also met up with the UFC legend, along with former defender Rio Ferdinand, while Khabib was also seen chatting with Sir Alex Ferguson, Patrice Evra and Usain Bolt.

His meeting with Ferguson stirred things up a bit, with a video emerging of Sir Alex telling the Russian “you should always start your best players” after Ronaldo was named on the bench against the Toffees that day.
