Tyson Fury sends message to Anthony Joshua over Oleksandr Usyk fight

Tyson Fury has told his heavyweight rival Anthony Joshua to "get the f*** on" with his decision regarding a step-aside offer to allow the WBC champion to take on Oleksandr Usyk.

The 'Gypsy King' is currently awaiting news on his next opponent with the WBC yet to officially rule on his potential mandatory defence against Dillian Whyte.

His rival Joshua fuelled speculation that he could take a financial reward to turn down his rematch with Usyk and clear the way for Fury to have an undisputed shot early next year.

Fury has now emphasised his desire to face Usyk while insisting he will not personally get involved in any "business" deals regarding his next opponent.

"I want him to step aside so I can absolutely batter Oleksandr Usyk," Fury told IFL TV. "But if he does he does and if he doesn't it doesn't happen.

"But one thing I will say is get the f*** on with it, either take the money and f*** off or fight the man either way one or the other.

"He can talk to my advisor on what is going on with people and step-aside money because I don't get involved at all. I am not a businessman, I am a f****** spartan and I am only interested in knocking mother******* out.

"I have heard a certain little person called AJ talk about being a businessman recently but I will fight to the end, that is what spartans say, this is nothing to do with business or whoever I am fighting."

Fury has expressed his desire to face Usyk for all the marbles and is keen to get a decision from his rival regarding the offer by the end of this week.

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn previously rubbished rumours that his charge would be willing to ditch his rematch plans to face Usyk, but then re-opened the door with a £40 million price claim shortly afterwards.

Any potential deal would see Joshua call for the winner of the undisputed bout between Fury and Usyk, but this could be made extremely complex with the ongoing situation regarding Whyte's mandatory status.

Fury's co-promoter Frank Warren has told Joshua that boxing fans "want to see" the undisputed tilt after his devastating defeat against Usyk in September.

“Everybody wants to see the undisputed fight between Tyson and Usyk. That’s between two undefeated fighters with all four of the belts," he said on his Queensbury Promotions YouTube channel.

Tyson Fury — the bigger man — against the guy who took Anthony Joshua to school. That is the massive fight. The only thing that stands in the way of that is AJ.

"He has done an interview where he has stated, ‘I am a businessman’, and when someone says that, the question is ‘how much?’."
