Tyson Fury's wife Paris cradles newborn daughter at home after ICU discharge

Tyson Fury's wife Paris shared a sweet picture of her cradling her daughter Athena at home after she was discharged from the ICU.

The mum-of-six took to her Instagram Stories to share the special moment where Athena got to finally be with her family at their home.

In the photo, Paris sat on the sofa in a Versace dressing gown and rocked a green headband.

She cradled little Athena on her lap as she fed from a bottle.

Athena was wearing a long white dress as she comfortably relaxed in her mother's arms.

Paris recently confirmed that the two-week-old arrived at the family home for the first time after being in intensive care.

The mum gave birth to her and Tyson's sixth child on August 8, but the baby was unfortunately placed in intensive care and on a ventilator.

Tyson and Paris shared a series of happy pictures on social media after welcoming Athena home.

Baby Athena was pictured in the middle of a beaming Fury family, with her siblings Venezuela, 10, Prince John James, eight, Prince Tyson II, four, Valencia, three, and Prince Adonis Amaziah, 16 months all looking delighted to have her home.

The parents have attempted to keep followers updated with Athena’s progress, asking for her to remain in their thoughts, after she was born with serious health complications.

Earlier this week, Tyson posted that Athena had come out of intensive care while explaining that she should be coming home soon.

Speaking to the camera as he fed Athena a bottle, Tyson said: "Just feeding my little girl, off the ICU, on the mend. Should be going home soon!

"Thank you to God, thank you to all the doctors and nurses who've helped her."

Tyson's father John also opened up about Athena's improvement.

He explained to BT Sport: "It's been a bit of a white knuckle ride, we've had a lot to deal with.

"But we've come out on the other side due to professionalism of Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, they're the best children's hospital in the country if not the world.

"They've been really magnificent, they've really saved her life because she was dead for three minutes and they brought her back, it's onwards and upwards from today."

Tyson had also started a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool.
