Tyson Fury's message to Jake Paul immediately after fight with brother Tommy

Tyson Fury told Jake Paul how impressed he was by his performance after losing a narrow split decision against his brother Tommy in Saudi Arabia last weekend.

Paul went the distance with the youngest Fury at the Diriyah Arena last Sunday, putting an end to a feud two years in the making with the American narrowly tasting defeat. And new footage captured by Top Rank Boxing who co-promoted the fight has shown the YouTuber meeting Tommy's older brother; world heavyweight champion Tyson, after the final bell.

The pair can be seen in the video embracing, before Fury expresses how well Paul fought. It is likely that after the success of the event that Paul and Fury will meet again, especially considering the minor controversy surrounding the scorecards with one judge feeling the American had done enough.

"Well done Jake," the elder Fury can be seen telling a dejected Paul, who had just found out he lost. "Good fight, brother. Very, very impressed. Well done." The world heavyweight champion later told cameras that the win was "sweet as Tropicana" after learning of the decision.

The Furys' father John was also impressed with Paul's showing; his first against a legitimate boxer, adding: "The amount of pressure the boy had on his back coming into this was immense. He had his whole life at stake, his family name and he fought his heart out. Credit to Jake Paul, he did exactly the same and what a great fight. Great fight."

There was a rematch clause in the pair's fight contract, which Paul's team are expected to exercise in the hopes of getting yet another big money bout together. The pair both made millions from their trip to the Middle East, and could fight there again if an appropriate UK or US venue isn't found.

Fury broke down in tears after the fight, and gave an impassioned speech after the fact, adding: "For the past two-and-a-half years everybody said I couldn't do it. Everybody went against me; 'I'm not a real fighter, I'm running scared'. Tonight I proved who Tommy Fury was.

"I had the weight of the world on my shoulders, 23 in the biggest fight in the world and I came through. That was the best moment of my life. Honestly, everything I've put into this camp it all paid off. I started at six, he started a few years ago I have nothing but respect and love. It was a great build-up and a great fight."
