Tyson Fury's dad John makes brutal prediction for Anthony Joshua fight

Tyson Fury's dad believes his son will knock out Anthony Joshua in the first round.

Fury and Joshua have agreed a two-fight deal in principle to meet twice in 2021 to crown the undisputed heavyweight world champion.

And John Fury has no doubt it will prove to be an early night for his son's rivals when they do finally meet.

"He'll think he's fighting an eel in cold water, he wont be able to touch Tyson, and he'll hit him that hard his heart will go," he told BT Sport. "It will be an easier night than Deontay Wilder.

"I'll take all bets again; in the first round Tyson will come out jabbing, slipping and sliding and bang! Joshua will fall to pieces after the first right hand because he will know he can't beat this man.

"All these fighters know they can't beat Tyson because the man hasn't been born yet.

"I'm not just saying that because he's my son, I tell it as I see it; they're all terrified of Tyson."

Fury, meanwhile, believes he is the greatest heavyweight of all time.

He said: "There hasn't been a heavyweight from any era for the last 1000 years who could have tackled me or beat me.

"Going right back to the beginning, not one of them could have beaten the Gypsy King; one I'm too big, two I'm two good, three I've got too many skills and four I'm an adapter.

"I'm the greatest fighter I've ever lived, never mind heavyweight, the greatest fighter that's ever lived."

Fury and Joshua plan to meet next summer but both will have interim fights before then.

Fury will take on Wilder for a third time later this year while Joshua will take on mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev.
