Tyson Fury reunites with miracle baby as Paris opens up on tragic loss of two children

Tyson Fury has been reunited with his youngest daughter Athena as his wife Paris opened up about her previous baby heartbreak.

Fury returned home to Morecambe this week following his devastating victory over Deontay Wilder in their heavyweight trilogy fight.

But the build-up to the trilogy was an exceptionally bumpy road for the champion as he first faced a coronavirus outbreak in his camp that delayed the trilogy from July until October.

Then newborn Athena was twice rushed into intensive care before eventually being allowed to return home.

And Fury's wife Paris has now recalled the heartbreaking story of their daughter fighting for her young life, as well as her grief at losing two previous children.

"The last week has been a whirlwind but I’m so happy to be back home in Morecambe with the kids, yes all six of them," Paris posted on Instagram.

"Even from a young age I always knew I wanted a big family - it’s in my bloodline after all as my Granny had eight. With every baby my confidence as a mum has increased, I’ve got a routine and I know what works for us.

"I know from the outside people see our big family and assume we’ve never struggled to have children.

"But as it’s #BabyLossAwarenessWeek I wanted to share a little bit about our story as it hasn’t always been plain sailing."

Fury was late into training camp as he remained at home to attend to his baby daughter.

But she eventually made a full recovery, being released from intensive care after her health battle.

And Athena's mother detailed further the emotional rollercoaster that the family suffered in recent years.

"Very sadly we lost two babies which was just devastating to both of us and my heart goes out to anyone who has suffered the same," Paris continued.

"I write about this in Love & Fury and it’s something I’ll never really get over. But I was lucky I had Tyson and the rest of my family around to support me.

"It can be a very lonely experience for a lot of people. Thinking of everyone affected this week."

Fury has spoken out recently regarding potential retirement from the sport to spend time with his family.

The 'Gypsy King' returned from Las Vegas after a 24-hour party and he will now re-adjust to normal family life in Morecambe.

And the family will now reside in their new £1.7 million family home, still located in their beloved Morecambe.

Fury's wife Paris has previously spoken of her desire for Fury to retire after competing against domestic rival Anthony Joshua.

And in the build up to the trilogy, the lineal champion admitted it was difficult balancing his fatherly duties and fighting.

“While I’m in camp, I have no involvement in what’s going on at home," Fury said. "It sounds very selfish, me being out in Las Vegas, not communicating with the family at all.

"But I’ve got a serious job to handle here and if I was on my phone to my kids every day, I wouldn’t want to be here.

"But I’ve had a lot of problems back home and that means I’ve been over here for three weeks, which isn’t the end of the world. If they can’t deal without me for three weeks of their life, then we have a problem.”
