Tyson Fury has laughed off Derek Chisora's prediction for a potential heavyweight showdown between the Gypsy King and Anthony Joshua.
The pair both hold aspirations of going toe-to-toe in the ring and were due to clash in a unification bout in Saudi Arabia last August, before the fight plans fell through after Fury was ordered by a US court to complete his rematch with Deontay Wilder.
While Fury overcame his opponent in Las Vegas, the same wasn't the case for Joshua as he suffered defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in September.
A potential meeting is on the cards if both fighters win in their upcoming matches, against Dillian Whyte and Usyk respectively, in what would be boxing's most fiercely anticipated match in a generation.
If that clash were to happen, the general consensus is that it is Fury who would be the favourite but Chisora believes otherwise.
Asked to predict a fight between Fury and Joshua, Chisora told TalkSport: “I’ll go with AJ. AJ’s power punch is unbelievable.
“If AJ fights Fury, he has to go on him straight away, blast him out. He can’t box him. If he boxes with him, he loses. If you give Fury time on the ball then you’re in trouble.”
However, those comments have since earned a response from Fury who made it clear that Joshua has no chance in his eyes.
"This is a message to Derek Chisora, I've just seen that you said you think AJ would blast me out. Never in a million years," he posted on Twitter.
"If the biggest puncher in history couldn't blast me out and Wladimr Klitschko couldn't blast me out, a big old body builder can't blast me out my friend."
