Tyson Fury has enjoyed one of the most high profile careers in the sport of boxing in recent years, with his trilogy against Deontay Wilder making headlines both sides of the Atlantic.
Tonight, he faces a very different test against the unfancied Derek Chisora, with the 38-year-old Londoner stepping into the ring in place of Anthony Joshua after 'AJ' withdrew from talks back in September. This comes ahead of a potential unification fight against Oleksandr Usyk which could take place next spring.
Fury has come a long way since his last meeting against Chisora, with the three fights against Wilder earning him worldwide acclaim along with the vast majority of his wealth. Fury earned an estimated £29.3 million from his fight against Dillian Whyte at Wembley in April but the fight is not expected to yield the same massive returns for the self-styled Gypsy King this time around. This is despite the pay-per-view having been set at a record £26.95 for the fight on BT Sport Box Office.
According to Sports Zion , Fury will earn a guaranteed prize for this upcoming fight of $25 million(£21 million), with Chisora taking home $3.8 million (£3.1m). This will be added to by an 80:20 split of pay per view revenue.
