Retired heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and his wife Paris have tied the knot for the third time. The couple held their latest wedding ceremony in Nice, in the South of France, on Wednesday, August 13. All seven of their children joined them for the special day.
Fury, who turned 37 on August 12, shared photos and videos from the ceremony on his Instagram account. The family was dressed in white and cream colors for the occasion. Paris wore a fitted white lace dress, while Tyson chose a cream linen shirt and white shorts with a large cross around his neck.
The couple chose the South of France for their third wedding because the location holds special memories for them. Fury wrote on Instagram that he and Paris “had the most beautiful day” in the French location. He explained that the place means a lot to them both.
Their love story spans nearly two decades
Tyson and Paris first met in 2005 at a mutual friend’s wedding. However, they did not start dating until a year later when they met again at Paris’s 16th birthday party. The couple got married for the first time in November 2008 in Doncaster, England. They renewed their vows in April 2013 in New York City.
The couple has seven children together. Their kids are Venezuela, 15, Prince John James, 14, Prince Tyson II, 9, Valencia, 7, Prince Adonis Amaziah, 5, Athena, 4, and Rico, 1. Paris shared on her Instagram Stories that her daughters were very excited to be flower girls because they had never done this before. While Tyson has entertained millions in the boxing ring, this family celebration shows the best boxing stories aren’t always about fights.

Their first wedding almost did not happen in 2008. Tyson had failed to secure a spot to compete at the Beijing Olympics that year. With his schedule suddenly free, he wanted to move their November wedding to earlier in the year. Paris was not happy with this last-minute change. She wrote in her 2021 book Love and Fury: The Magic and Mayhem of Life with Tyson that Tyson did not understand how much planning goes into a wedding.
After a big argument, Paris called off both the wedding and their relationship. They stayed apart for a few weeks before getting back together, showing that even celebrity relationships face real challenges but can overcome them with commitment. Paris had asked her mother to cancel the wedding plans, but her mother predicted they would make up and never canceled anything. The couple ended up getting married as originally planned that November.
