Tyson Fury spotted backstage with The Rock and Vince McMahon after shock WWE debut

Boxing star Tyson Fury rubbed shoulders with The Rock and other wrestling superstars after his dramatic appearance at WWE Smackdown.

Fury was in the thick of the action at the Staples Center, being restrained by security after jumping the barricade having been goaded by Braun Strowman.

He took to social media in the aftermath of his performance, showing pictures of him mixing with multiple WWE legends as he enjoyed the experience.

"Great catching up with all the WWE superstars tonight," Fury wrote.

"Grew up watching some of these guys."

He posted pictures with The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Vince McMahon, Triple H and Ric Flair as he donned an eccentric suit.

The scenes seemed to hint at a bigger involvement from Fury in WWE in the coming weeks as he continues to await his rematch with Deontay Wilder .

Wilder has agreed to face Fury again as long as he comes through his next fight against Luis Ortiz unscathed on November 23.

The ‘Gypsy King’ was last in the ring on September 14 when he scored a unanimous points victory against Sweden’s Otto Wallin.

But he is still unable to box as he recovers from the severe cut he suffered above his right eye, requiring over 40 stitches after the bout.

Meanwhile, The Rock made his return to action earlier in the night in Los Angeles, flooring Baron Corbin after being goaded into a fight.

With the help of Becky Lynch, the 47-year-old ended it quickly after landing a ‘People’s Elbow’, followed by a ‘Rock Bottom’ move.
