Tyson Fury issues X-rated response to Deontay Wilder's comeback plan

Tyson Fury has slammed Deontay Wilder - and his trainer Malik Scott - and offered to fight them both in one night.

The pair were expected to fight for a third time after their WBC title bout last year but Fury is now pursuing a unification fight with Anthony Joshua in August.

Wilder, 35, posted a video recently, declaring that he was coming back after a year and a half out of the ring following his loss to Tyson in their rematch in February 2020.

And speaking to FightHype, Fury reacted to the footage, saying: “Malik Scott’s a b****, and so is Deontay Wilder.

"I’ll fight both of them, one after the other, on the same night, and I'll smack them round - you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

"Once I’ve got his heart and his mojo, it’s right here in my pocket, so, if you want them, Deontay, come and fight the Gypsy King and come and take what I’ve got belonging to you.”

The hard-hitting heavyweight had never tasted defeat before the towel was thrown in during the seventh round of his fight with Fury, after being hurt badly throughout and being dropped.

Wilder has since sparked a number of bizarre conspiracy theories related to the result, including claims that the undefeated British star cheated by tampering with his gloves.

The duo did have a legal obligation to fight each other for a third time written in to the contract for their big-money rematch last year in Vegas.

But with issues arising due to the pandemic and a July 18 date being pushed back deep in to December and possibly beyond, Fury and his promoters Frank Warren and Bob Arum opted to take a giant title unification fight with fellow Brit Joshua.

The pair are expected to meet on either August 7 or August 14 in Saudi Arabia, and will make a reported purse in excess of £53million each after a lucrative site deal.

Meanwhile, Wilder's comeback opponent is still unknown as yet, but a few big names have been floated.

There had been rumours of a potential fight with former IBF champion Charles Martin, which appear to have fizzled out, and Andy Ruiz Jr has also recently called for a clash with his fellow PBC fighter.
