Tyson Fury issues update to fans amid Dillian Whyte and Francis Ngannou fight talk

Tyson Fury has told fans he feels 'absolutely fantastic' as negotiations with Dillian Whyte rumble on behind the scenes.

The WBC has mandated Fury to defend his heavyweight belt against his fellow Brit but an agreement between the two parties is yet to be reached.

And it's seen speculation of Fury taking another fight in the first quarter of the year increase, as he seeks to remain active ahead of a potential unification bout against Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua.

UFC champion Francis Ngannou is among them, having made his desire to enter the boxing ring clear, but for now, the most likely scenario remains a showdown with Whyte.

Amid it all, Fury is remaining focused on his training ahead of what my be his first UK fight since 2018 and took to social media to issue an update to fans.

"Well guys, another gym session done, Tuesday morning, absolutely buried and smashed," he posted on Twitter.

"Feeling absolutely fantastic, I can't say how happy I am to being back in January and back to graft. All the best guys."

Fury is set for a huge year in 2022, with a March fight set to be followed by a heavyweight unification bout which could crown the first unified heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

The Gypsy King has long expressed his desire to face Joshua, who is set for a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
