Tyson Fury has dismissed Eddie Hearn's claims that his preparations for his rematch with Deontay Wilder have been under-cooked.
The promoter - who represents Anthony Joshua- said he had heard whispers that Fury was struggling in the gym under new trainer SugarHill Steward.
Hearn said he "heard a few things in the camp and stuff like that", but when that was put to Fury, he told ESPN: "I'm going to stop you right there, Eddie Hearn is a w*****.
"Stop you right there, I don’t care what he’s got to say.
"The man’s a clown. I don’t care what he says, who he says. He mentions my name to keep relevant, to keep his fighters relevant, which that’s up to them.
"Let them do what they've got to do, everyone’s got to live their own life, everyone’s got to work their own career. So that’s it."
Fury has been based in Las Vegas for his training camp ahead of the sequel on Saturday.
He ditched trainer and friend Ben Davison for Steward just weeks before the biggest fight of his career.
But Fury's promoter Bob Arum backed his fighter's response to Hearn.
"I don’t know what he’s hearing. I’m here, I know everything. My guys are in every minute that I’m not in, so what the hell is he talking about? Eddie Hearn runs from the mouth," Arum told IFL TV.
"I’m sure he heard that from 'somebody,' you hear everything in boxing. But again you have to be a little cautious about what you talk about and what to say. Who is this [source]? The guy who sweeps my gym? Eddie really has to grow up."
Hearn went on to say he was changing his prediction for the fight following the alleged revelations.
“Listen, it might be rubbish, but [now] I do think Wilder’s gonna win the fight by stoppage," he told talkSPORT.
“I hope he doesn’t, I would love to see Tyson Fury make the fight because Tyson Fury will fight Anthony Joshua, he actually wants to fight Anthony Joshua.
“I know AJ wants to fight Tyson Fury. It’s a very quick deal to make with Tyson Fury.”
