Tyson Fury has mystery "antidote" to beat Deontay Wilder in trilogy fight

Tyson Fury has a mystery "antidote" that will help him to once again beat Deontay Wilder in their trilogy, according to his dad John.

Fury Sr has been more involved the build-up to this fight after his son returned from his Las Vegas training camp following a coronavirus outbreak that saw the fight pushed back from July.

And now, Fury says, they are more than ready to put an end to Wilder's career as a top heavyweight, with 'Big John' telling BT Sport that he is expecting Wilder to never box again after October 9.

"He doesn't deserve the fight after that last performance," Fury's dad said. "It should be Tyson and [Anthony] Joshua.

"This man is just a bump in the road that we're going to iron out and send into retirement.

"We've got the antidote for him that we can't discuss on camera because we're going to execute it on the night and it'll be the end of Deontay Wilder."

Fury, appearing on the broadcaster's Heavyweight Debate show, said that Wilder and his new coach Malik Scott are "all wrong" with their preparations for the bout.

And he has repeated his claim that if he were with his son in America when the arbitration ruling that forced the rematch went through, the fight would never have been made.

"Deontay Wilder this time, how can two wrongs produce a champion?" Fury asked. "Deontay Wilder is all wrong and Malik Scott is all wrong.

"Where's he going to get the win from? He got humiliated last time, let the whole of America down, Tyson smashed him to pieces.

"He's lucky to be boxing Tyson again for the third time, only for people around Tyson he got the chance again."

Fury has also promised a brutal knockout from his son, who badly beat Wilder in their February 2020 rematch which was stopped in the seventh.

Fury dropped the American twice over the short fight, and eventually his corner had to throw in the towel to protect their fighter - a decision which saw coach Mark Breland fired from the team.

"People who like blood and snot everywhere, and injuries are going to have a right night," Fury continued.

"Believe me, he's going to get it proper, I'm going to buy my ticket early because I wouldn't miss it for the world.

"I want Tyson to cop him for what he's been saying, discrediting my son's achievements, move on. We need to deal with this bum because that's all he is a bum.

"He's a one-trick pony with a big right hand, he's got nothing, no bodily strength, legs worse than mine, I'm 55-years-old and have better legs myself.

"He's got nothing to beat Tyson with, only if Tyson was to sleep on the job, and that's not happening. Put your money on Tyson!"
