Tyson Fury goes running in Union Jack flag after sending Jubilee message to fans

Tyson Fury celebrated the Platinum Jubilee weekend by going for a run down Morecambe Bay draped in a Union Jack flag.

Heavyweight champion Fury, 33, announced his retirement from boxing after knocking out Dillian Whyte in April. The Brit is still open to taking exhibition fights and recently linked up with his first boxing coach Steve Egan.

Fury posted a video of himself alongside pal Bob Howard running down Morecambe Bay on Friday morning and the weather wasn't too kind to the pair. Fury said: "P****ng down in Morecambe Bay, get up Bobby Howard, what's the weather like Bob?". His friend then replied "British" before Fury stated: "Come on! Soaking wet, come on."

In a thoughtful video he addressed to fans suffering with mental health issues over the bank holiday weekend, Fury urged them to speak with a friend or family member and if not, get medical advice urgently.

"Just sat here and I thought I do a little video for all of the people suffering with depression anxiety or any mental health disorder you may have," he said. "Now is the time to seek help, get medical advice or speak to a friend or family member, whoever you can.

"If you don't have any friends or family members that you think you can speak to like I didn't, seek medical advice immediately. Now is the time, you sooner you can go and do it the better. The sooner you can return to health again, it's a sad and lonely place to be especially over the holidays.

"I just thought of all the people who may be struggling or in need, this one's for you. All the people who are out there on and off with it all, do yourself a bit of exercising. Put the drink down, drugs down, everything down. Get your runners on, get your gym gear, do a bit if you can. Any exercise is better than none."

Fury has played down rumours of his boxing return and stated he still trains daily as it has great benefits on his mental health. "“Yes training daily, but just to keep my weight down and for my mental health," he captioned a post of himself training whilst on holiday in France last month.

'The Gypsy King' will soon face a decision from WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman over the future of his heavyweight title. Sulaiman admitted he wanted to give Fury some family time to relax before pressing him over vacating his belt.
