Tyson Fury fans fear the 'Drake Curse' might strike after superstar rapper sends good luck message

Tyson Fury has received a good luck message from a rap superstar ahead of his eagerly-anticipated showdown with Deontay Wilder tonight.

The Gypsy King takes on his American heavyweight rival for a third time in Las Vegas and Canadian hitmaker Drake is among the big names to have sent their support.

The Way 2 Sexy rapper sent a special video message ahead of the fight, calling his Brit pal 'the scariest man in boxing.'

Drake said in the heartfelt message: "This is a video for the most psycho man that I know. He's mad in his head, but he has the purest heart, nicest guy.

"The Gypsy King, the scariest man in boxing.

"I'm wishing you the best of luck this weekend, brother. I want you to just go out there and continue the legacy.

"Do what you do. We all love you because you're relentlessly yourself.

"So go out there and get the work done and afterwards f*****g sing your heart out or say whatever the f*** you want to say.

"I'mma tell you, brother, we're all so proud of you. We love you. I appreciate you always staying in contact with me.

"I appreciate the encouragement, the inspiration. Yeah man, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result this weekend.

"Wishing you the best, always. I'll see you on the other side. F*** 'em."

Tyson, 33, shared the video on Twitter with the words: "Trust me @Drake, once I’m done with him he’ll be running through Alabama with his woes! God Bless You G."

But the message from Drizzy struck fear in the heart of fans who were reminded of the 'Drake Curse.'

For years the rapper was taunted by sports fans for bringing supposed 'bad luck' if he posed for a photo with an athlete or appeared to be supporting any particular team or person.

In the past he's been 'blamed' for losses by big name sporting superstars Anthony Joshua, Serena Williams and Conor McGregor.

When Joshua met Drake in March 2019, he tweeted a photo of the pair together with the words 'bout to break the curse' ahead of his fight with Andy Ruiz Jr in June.

But the British boxer lost his world heavyweight title at New York's Madison Square Garden.

However the curse appeared to be broken the same month when the Toronto Raptors basketball team won the NBA Finals against Golden State Warriors and Drake watched his favourite team become the first Canadians to win the NBA.

But Fury fans are scared that the omen hasn't yet lifted.

"Oh no the Drake curse," said one.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO THE CURSE BRO," gasped another.

"Na! Why Drake gotta do this before the fight. Drake curse in full effect again. Pain," tweeted another.

"Game over! Drake curse is very real!" another wrote.

But another reassured: "He is prepared mate. He is the f*****g King!"
