Tyson Fury has paid no attention to Deontay Wilder's training videos heading into the pair's trilogy fight next month.
Fury will defend his world heavyweight title for the first time against Wilder in their third fight together, with the American having changed up his training team heading into the Las Vegas showdown.
The bout takes place on October 9 from the T-Mobile Arena, and Wilder has been preparing consistently with new coach Malik Scott over the past few months.
And in a number of training videos, Wilder has been seen working on new techniques as well as exhibiting some outlandish behaviour.
“I don’t make much of his training videos," Fury said during a virtual media day. "Because a lot of people speak a lot of words and nothing ever gets done about it.
"But we’ll see on the night. I hope he brings a better fight because our last fight was disappointing, to say the least.
"I trained for an absolute war, and it was a one-sided beatdown, so hopefully he can give me a challenge.
“It’s nearly that time of the year again where I take over Las Vegas, and it becomes the home of ‘The Gypsy King,' and just remember that I plan to smash Deontay Wilder to bits….and I will.”
Wilder has made a number of claims as to why he took the first loss of his career to Fury in their February 2020 rematch, with some truly bizarre accusations levelled at the Brit.
Fury stopped Wilder in dominant fashion when the pair last met, having fought him to a contentious draw in their first fight in Los Angeles back in 2018.
He dropped the American twice, first in the third round and then the fifth, before the fight was stopped in the seventh to see Fury win the world heavyweight title once again.
And in the aftermath, Wilder said that a number of factors played into his loss to Fury, including walking to the ring in a suit that was too heavy, and his water being spiked.
He also accused Fury of tampering with his gloves, and even said that Fury had put something resembling an egg weight into his glove
The claim has been thoroughly denied by Fury and a number of other people involved, and there is no evidence to support it beyond a phone video shared by Wilder.
“I don’t really make much of the excuses that were flying around for so long," Fury said.
"I think they just made him a weaker character and less of a man and less of a fighter, because when you get beat, you get beat.
Who will win the trilogy fight, Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury? Let us know in the comments section!
"Shake the man’s hand and move on. Lots of fighters have lost. Muhammad Ali lost fights, Mike Tyson lost fights. It’s what they do after they lose that makes them who they are.
"I don’t really have a lot to say about what Deontay Wilder was saying.
"It’s none of my concern because when some people lose, they have to make up an excuse for why they lost and that’s what Wilder’s reason is for convincing himself about whatever happened.
"That’s up to him, so good luck to him in the fight, and we’ll see if he can do anything better.”
Asked by Mirror Fighting why he wouldn't have launched an official appeal, or taken the matter to law enforcement, Wilder said that he wanted his revenge "in blood".
"I didn't go to the measurements of that," Wilder said last week.
"I want it back in blood, and that's up to me so come October 9 I will get my revenge.
"You've seen the shirts we had made; an eye for an eye, and that's what I'm looking forward to."
