Tyson Fury cuts: Pictures of the brutal injuries the Gypsy King suffered in victory over Otto Wallin

Tyson Fury walked away from his victory over Otto Wallin in Las Vegas with a grisly injury for his trouble.

Fury sealed an unanimous decision win over Swedish heavyweight Wallin, dominating the mid-to-late rounds to extend his professional record to 29-0-1 and leave him on collision course with WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

But The Gypsy King suffered a nasty cut in the third round of the contest after his opponent landed a heavy right just above his right eyebrow.

Fury suffered a second cut later in the fight, seemingly from an accidental clash of heads.

The wound needed constant treatment for the remainder of the fights with his cutman Jorge Capetillo doing a superb job patching his man up between rounds.

The ringside doctor did however take a long look at the damage in the sixth, sparking fears the contest might be stopped.

And from the pictures above, it easy to see why.

Fury’s father John, on punditry duty with BT Sport Box Office back in the UK also shared his concern. “An injury like that could finish his career, he might need surgery on that. I am worried about that cut.”
