Tyson Fury has congratulated the ‘second baddest man on the planet’ Deontay Wilder after his knockout win over Dominic Breazeale – warning Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte would face the same fate.

Wilder extended his professional record to 41 wins a stunning first round KO at the Barclays Center, flooring Breazeale with a vicious right to retain his WBC title.

It was the American’s first fight since his thrilling split-decision draw with Fury last December with talks over a highly-anticipated (and WBC-ordered) rematch between the pair breaking down as the latter signed a deal with ESPN worth a rumoured £80million.

While insisting he remains the man to beat in the heavyweight ranks, Fury lavished praise on the “most destructive puncher” in the division who would have no problem adding British pair Joshua and Whyte to his list of victims.

“I’d Just like to say well done to Deontay Wilder in knocking out Dominic Brezeale, I got that prediction quite correct. Anyone who wants to go toe to toe with Wilder will have the same fate as Breazeale and the rest of his 40 other victims.

“Anthony Joshua, you get it as well, the same thing will happen to you mush.

"Dillian Whyte, you’ll get it as well, the Bronze Bomber is the most fearsome, the most destructive puncher in the heavyweight division but it’s just a pity he had to lose to the Gipsy King.

“Anyone who stands in front of Wilder he will knock them out. Deontay Wilder is the second baddest man on the planet after the Gypsy King, the number one heavyweight in the world, nobody can beat me.”
