Tyson Fury bites back after Deontay Wilder accuses him of ducking rematch

Tyson Fury has hit back at Deontay Wilder after the American accused him of taking a warm-up fight instead of a lucrative rematch.

Last night, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman announced a second Fury-Wilder bout would take place at “a later date”.

Wilder tweeted in response to a post from Fury: “You requested a warm-up fight first. I don’t blame you tho. I probably would too if I saw my brains splashed all over the canvas.”

Fury though, reacted angrily to the accusations. He tweeted back: “Get yourself a bit more well known in America first kid and then I’ll give you another chance.

“I already beat you and the world knows it and so do you. It must be hard for you that a British fighter has taken over the USA.”

Fury recently agreed an £80million deal for five fights with ESPN, making a showdown with Wilder complicated because the American is signed with Showtime.
