Tyson Fury backs dad John to "rip Jake Paul's heart out" in bare-knuckle fight

Tyson Fury believes that his dad would "rip Jake Paul's heart out" if the pair were to fight outside of the ring after their Dubai altercation.

The world heavyweight champion was away from the chaos of his brother Tommy's latest fight week, which saw the youngster face a new opponent on just hours' notice. But he was watching as Paul made a mockery of his younger sibling's exhibition bout against Rolly Lambert on commentary, and was ultimately approached at ringside by both Tommy and John.

After a lacklustre exhibition, the standout moment of the night was when Paul invited the Fury pair out of the ring, and John obliged. He took off his shirt and demanded that the YouTuber-turned-boxer fight him instead of his son, declaring that he is the 'king of the bare-knuckle men'.

And asked during an appearance on The MMA Hour this week how he feels a fight between the pair would go, Fury replied: "I think my dad would rip his heart and feed it to him, and the man's nearly 60 years old. I think my dad and Jake Paul should have a bare-knuckle fight but to the end - that would be a spectacle and I would give $100 to see it, pay-per-view."

However, it seems that Paul is more keen on a fight with Tommy, declaring that he has sent out a seven-figure fight offer for the pair to finally settle their lengthy feud. The duo have been going back-and-forth since the start of 2021, and have twice signed to fight each other, with both being cancelled at late notice.

Paul plans to return to the ring in February and claims to have sent out offers to three prospective opponents yesterday. And the YouTuber took to social media to confirm Fury was one of the recipients, saying: " Tommy Fury …the contract is with your team. Seven figures, six times what you made in your last fight. You signing right?"

The first time, Fury broke a rib while trying to train through an illness and was forced out of their meeting in December last year, with Paul instead facing Tyron Woodley in a rematch. They attempted to make the fight happen again in August, but the Brit was unable to get into America and the entire event was ultimately cancelled.
